Home to the J Shed Artist Studios, the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre, and the Kidogo Arthouse.

A short walk from the city centre you'll find the Bathers Beach Art Precinct, a hub of artists' studios, galleries, sculpture, music and culture stretching from the Bathers Beach boardwalk right around to the J Shed by Fleet Street.

The Manjaree Trail

Part of the Nyoongar coastal trail which stretches across Western Australia, you'll find the entrance to the Manjaree trail by the Kidogo Arthouse. Walk the trail to discover the significance of the land's Aboriginal history, customs, and dreamtime stories.

Kidogo Arthouse

Once a store for dangerous goods, the Arthouse is now a contemporary art gallery, live music venue, and pop-up bar reminiscent of the West Coast of Ireland.

J Shed Artist Studios

The J Shed is an historic Fremantle warehouse that was relocated from the port to Bathers Beach in the 60s and is home to local sculptor Greg James, ceramist Jenny Dawson, photographer Peter Zuvela, and artist Jina Lee.

Captains Lane Studios

A series of heritage-listed Pilot Cottages next to the Round House that are now home to a number of studios including Glen Cowans Underwater Photography.

Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Found at the end of Captains Lane on Mrs Trivett Place, the Cultural Centre runs art workshops, Nyoongar language classes, artist-in-residence programs, free film days, and much more.
